The English Inter-Series Cup is a tabletop event to find the best Tournament Series (TS) for bragging rights and the chance to call themselves the best series team.
Teams of 4 coaches from each Tournament Series will be selected to represent their region based on the selection criteria set out below.
Eight teams representing the regions will pit themselves against each other in a NAF approved invitational event.
Along side this we will also run a singles event open to everyone.
The event will be held at The Outpost in Sheffield on the 28th and 29th March 2026.
Any questions about the event speak to Littleleadperson or Dodge 22. Questions on squad selection speak to your local Tournament Series Organiser (TSO).
Squad Entry
Squads to represent the regions of England will be selected using the following criteria. Only those that have run a series in the previous year get an automatic space.
Time Line for Squad Entry
TSOs will be asked to declare if they will be seeking to form a team by 31st September 2025
TSOs will start the coach invitation process after the results of the last event in the series have been uploaded and final standings are known.
TSOs will confirm their team or that they cannot form a team no later than 31st January 2026
In the event they we have an odd number of teams we will invite a squad to be formed from the following areas, in this order:
East Anglia who will be running a series in 2026, the SETS standings will be used to form this selection.
Scotland / Wales TS. Scotland first in alphabetical order which will rotate each year.
A fully invitational squad from all regions using standings as selection criteria.
Seven TS are running in 2025 who will all seek to form a squad these are: London, Midlands, North East, North West, South East, South West and Yorkshire.
As there is an odd number East Anglia have been invited to form an eighth squad.
Squad Selection Criteria
General criteria
Coaches must have completed at least three games in the series they are representing, except when qualifying via stunty cup then series criteria to win stunty cup applies.
In the event a coach would qualify within two separate series they can’t choose the region they wish to represent. The selection criteria will be as follows:
If they finish in the top 4 of two series they would be offered a place within the region that they reside in.
If they do not live in either region they will qualify for the region within which they finished highest based on the below criteria.
If they qualify by virtue of the top 4 places not being taken then they will qualify for the region within which they finished highest.
TSOs will make every effort to contact those who have qualified via the various channels available but due to the small window available and no contact database if we have not had heard within 10 days of an invitation to join a team being sent we will move down the list to the next coach. The best way to keep in up to date about the Champions of England is to join the Team England discord : https://discord.gg/q2AX7TxDdP
All TS except North East
Coaches will be invited that finished 1st to 4th, then best stunty if applicable, then 5th, 6th etc.
As East Anglia have not run a series they will be selected based on standings within the South East TS as this covers their geographical area. They will be selected following the above criteria and home location as far as is possible.
North East
Coaches will be asked to apply if they wish to represent the North East and if available to attend. The selection will be undertaken trying to prioritise with the following:
Series Winner
Stunty Cup Winner
Runner Up
Third Place
4th Place
Stunty Cup Runner Up
5th Place
6th Place
Most touchdowns
Most Casualties
7th - Xth
If there is trouble getting a coherent team I would then defer to the club competition that’s part of the series and offer each club a chance to form a team that will represent the region
