The Yorkshire Tournament Series (YTS) is a tournament series covering the counties of North, South, East and West Yorkshire.
A tournament series is a competition where coaches compete to achieve the best score over a number of different tournaments.
The YTS is an open event. We have identified some initial events to fill out the calendar but we are seeking additional events to provide a good geographical and calendar spread across the counties that make up the area.
It is run in conjunction with the NAF, and is a NAF approved series.
If you are a Tournament Organiser who would like their tournament to be included within the YTS please contact the tournament series organiser (TSO). Any events accepted into the YTS will be approved on a first come first served basis, based on the date of NAF approval. The following restrictions apply :
No tournament within the series can be on the same weekend as one another and they can not be on a weekend consecutive to another tournament in the series.
Team tournaments and the English Inter-series Cup will not be included in the series while Sevens and 11s tournaments are eligible. Other variants (such as Specialist or Dungeonbowl) will be at the discretion of the TSO.
Tournaments must be NAF approved at time of inclusion.
TOs must inform TSO of their desire to be included in the series at least 2 months before the event. No new events will be accepted in the 2 months before the series end date (i.e., after 31st October 2026).
The TO must commit to providing results to the TSO within a week of the event finishing.
The YTS Tournament series organiser is Littleleadperson who is best contacted by email at indieash254@googlemail.com or on Discord - littleleadperson_llp.
In 2026 the YTS will adopt the standard English series rules pack.
Each coach's top 3 scores will be taken to form their score. Attendance at 3 or more events is required to record a qualifying score. Points will be awarded from 1st to 15th, with bonus points for every 10 coaches below you (capped at 5 bonus points). After this a multiplier will be applied to non-variant events of 1.x where x is the number of games. Full information on the scoring and rules can be found within the link. This rules pack is shared across several English tournament series.
