Champions of England

Champions of England is a FUMBBL tournament, pitting the best players from each series against each other in a team event, following the rulespack for UKTC.

For series that ran in 2024, the recommendation is to pick top 4 players in standings, dropping down places if anyone declines. For those that didn’t run in 2024, TSOs should pick players as fairly and transparently as possible.

There may be clashes (eg. 3rd place in SW series might be 4th in SE series). If this is the case, they should be offered a choice of who to represent. 

All squads should be registered on the FUMBBL group for the event by 6th April. On the 7th of April, the fixtures will be released.

There will be 2 weeks per round. Any games unplayed by 9am Monday morning on the first day of the next round will be forfeit, and the next round games will be drawn then.

The format will be swiss within teams, with all teams playing each other in a round robin format. These fixtures will be set at the start of the tournament. The first match ups will be randomised. Thereafter the first placed in each team will play the first place on their opponents team, second will play second etc. 

We will be encouraging players to let their regions know when games are to be played so they can watch or stream as appropriate. We will ask a few streamers to commentate on games if they are able to.
